Retreat Facilities

Deva has rooms or private houses to rent at a modest fee for those who wish to escape the city and enjoy a beautiful and peaceful retreat environment. Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of Northern New Mexico, our Deva valley embodies our namesake, the Divine Spirit of Nature. The land is honored by sacred spaces for ceremony, a Meditation Temple, a sweat lodge, a Celtic "Devahenge" and natural sitting areas in the wildflower fields and pine forests. Or come in the winter for the delicate snow and ever-present sunshine. Each room or building has access to a fully equipped kitchen , dining and living areas with private and shared bathrooms. We are only twenty minutes from Santa Fe, The City Different.

What makes the retreat facilities at Deva so appealing? The grounds are lovely, located in a secluded, historical area of New Mexico, surrounded by organic gardens and New Mexican wildlife.

You can rent a Retreat House, or one or more of the rooms that makes up a House. Shared facilities include a kitchen, sitting area and bathroom.

Heidi's House
A beautiful and spacious house with 3 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms, kitchen and sitting room with kiva fireplace. Opens onto a wooden patio, great for outdoor entertainment, perfect for family and friends. Sleeps up to 8 comfortably. $500/night.

Bodhisattva
Charming room with shared facilities and twin beds. $50/night.

Georgia O'Keefe
This 2-level bedroom overlooks a beautiful view of pinon and juniper trees. Private bath, living area, and its own private patio entrance. $110/night.

Pueblo
This southwestern style bedroom is spacious and has great views of the NM mountain landscape. Includes queen bed and futon which doubles as a couch during the day. Shared facilities. $80/night.

Deva Cottage
An intimate cottage for family and friends. 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. Views of garden and meadows. Wood burning stove for chilly nights. $200/night.

Lovers Room
A cozy and quaint room with a double bed, perfect for lovers. Shared facilities. $60/night.

Guatemala & Egyptian
Charming rooms with shared facilities and twin beds. Both rooms overlook flowering meadows and gardens in the summer. $50/night.

Helmut's Casita
A romantic casita with a king size bed for 1-2 people. Private bath, living area, and its own kitchen. Wooden deck for night-time stargazing or day-time sunbathing. $150/night.

Your use of the Retreat Facilities can include access to our other sites, including Devahenge, the Sweat Lodge, the Deva Library, the gardens, the Tibetan Prayer Flags, and the Meditation Temple.
